Townsville Day Surgery has been the Townsville centre for Day Surgery since 2003, and services both the local community and the broader North Queensland region.
The facility runs two operating theatres and two endoscopy procedure rooms, treating more than 7,000 patients per year.
Townsville Day Surgery Board of Directors have two highly experienced local doctors as members, who understand the needs of the North Queensland people: Dr Stephen Fairley (Gastroenterologist) and Professor Ajay Rane (Uro-gynaecologist and proponent of Women’s Health).

Townsville Day Surgery is dedicated to deliver an effective model for day surgery service to the community. As such we partner with the community to support and enable individuals, families and significant others to maintain, restore or improve their health status without prolonged hospitalisation.

We asked our patients if they found our Reception Team to be friendly and helpful. 92% found them to be very friendly and helpful, while 8% felt they were good.
